ARTS & HUMS - The National Gallery & National Portrait Gallery in London 16th March 2020
Our art team are delighted to be offering our A Level Art students the opportunity to visit The National Gallery and National Portrait Gallery in central London on Monday 16th March 2020. This is a fantastic chance for students to see the art first hand, enable them to make studies of selected work in the galleries and support their artist research for their independent project.
The cost of the visit to include transportation and the exhibition fee will be £17. Places are limited so to secure your son or daughters place on the visit please complete the attached permission slip and return it with payment by Tuesday 3rd March 2020.
Students will need to meet promptly in the Coach Park at One for 09:15 and will be accompanied by Nigel Dickerson, Emma Connolly, myself and one other member of staff for the duration of the trip. We will be leaving London at 17:00 and anticipate we will be back at One for 20:00 – we ask kindly that your son or daughter is collected promptly.
You will be aware that the current terror alert in London is set at substantial in light of the recent terror attacks, it is only right that we bring this to your attention, we believe it is important to ensure our students get a wide variety of experiences in relation to their studies at One, therefore we will continue to support trips and visits where students, their parents and staff are supportive of them going ahead.
Please return parental permission slip directly to the Finance Office (G104) between the hours of 9.00am-1:15pm by Tuesday 3rd March 2020
